renovation train

 We are on a renovation train...and the next stop is ours...The train is picking up fast and we have the deadline of moving in THIS coming Saturday. The movers are set...is our house going to be ready? There's still a 60-40 chance that it will be..

 Does Hudson look like he likes those odds? Yesterday, the stone guys had a cancellation which means they actually got to us *early*! New counter tops really helped push the project toward completion. What do you think? Nice to see all the planning come together (noted in this post)

That's an eleven foot run of counter. Pretty sweet! The guys from Marble Style did a great job!They also primed the fireplace in the living room and finished painting the ceilings...

 And put the trim (that matches the existing trim) around the two new doors.

We got new shelves for the niche and a ledge at the end of the tub from left over Caesar Stone slab from our kitchen. I think they look good!

 ..And they finished painting the majority of our bedroom!

 Doesn't it look better with white trim rather than baby blue?

 And back to our counter tops. So pretty!

 Love the under-mount sink! First time I've had a double sink since living with my parents pre-college. So looking forward to it!

We plan on installing the rest of the cabinet drawers tonight. Still lots for the contractor to do, but he is definitely picking up the pace! And he has to, as the movers are scheduled for 9am on Saturday!
