mama's new 'do

So I got to get a haircut last Friday courtesy of Violet watching both boys... So much faster to dry and take care of. My guy is the best.

weeks 6 & 7

Sterling is growing like a weed! He starting to smile which is super cute! He loves to be sung to and to be held; although he is good at napping in his crib.

And now for 7 weeks! He looks a little smaller  in these photos, which is deceiving because we've gone to a bigger onsie! He is starting to coo more and interact with you when you talk to him. He also likes to grunt rather than really 'cry'. We call him our 'little bear'.

mommy morning

Hudson and I had a fun morning...started at the Tea Lounge for a snack and then we went to the playground. It was wet from yesterday's rain, but still fun (the slide was just that much faster!

hard day's night...

Poor Sterling has been fighting some nasty digestive distress manifest in some crying fits in the evening/night. Thankfully after a week they are getting better. We have tilted his mattress, eliminated dairy from my diet, added a probiotic to his diet, and used symethicone and gripe water. The fits are not as long as Hudson's were, but it is exhausting trying to soothe such an uncomfortable baby. He's gaining weight well (11lb 4oz this week!) and growing (21.5"!) so that is good. He is also getting more alert!

Underpants! Hudson asked for them in lieu of a diaper. We'll see how long this lasts.

growing up

It is amazing how much Hudson is growing! Not only is he starting to help take care of his little brother - fetching the paci and tossing the dirty nappies - he also is starting to master the scoot bike!
